Swiveling Recessed PIR Motion Detector
The infrared sensor detects movement by people, large animals and vehicles within a detection range of 3 to 8 m and a detection angle of 360° (in open areas), and switches the connected lighting on. After a preset time of approx. 10 seconds to 15 minutes the motion detector switches off again. Using a control dial, the switch-on sensitivity of this device can be adjusted according to the ambient brightness (in a range between 3 and 2,000 LUX). In addition, the detection area can be precisely targeted thanks to a tilting range of +/- 20°.
Programmable
- Switch-on duration: The lighting duration can be set from approx. 10 seconds to 15 minutes.
- Ambient brightness: Using a control dial, the switch-on sensitivity of this device can be adjusted according to the ambient brightness (between 3 and 2,000 LUX).
- Range: Thanks to an additional control dial, the detection range for active movements can be adjusted between 3 and 8 m.
- Tiltable: The detection area can also be precisely targeted thanks to a tilting range of +/- 20°.
Where can I use the motion detector?
Thanks to its flat design, this recessed motion detector blends almost seamlessly into the ceiling. Suitable for hollow ceilings with a flush-mounted cut-out diameter of 65–75 mm. With its IP20 protection rating, this detector is suitable for indoor use.
Infrared sensor
The sensor integrated in this device detects the heat radiation of moving bodies, e.g. people or animals, and passes this on as an electrical impulse to a connected light, for example. The device then switches on. Detection of heat radiation may be restricted by large items of furniture, panes of glass or very high ambient temperatures above 40°C.

The detection range is up to 8 m with a detection angle of 360° and an installation height of 2.2–4 m.
