Surface-mounted IR presence detector
This motion and presence detector with IR sensor recognises even the mere presence of people and large animals. The lighting switches on within a detection range of 6-20 metres and a detection angle of 360°. After an adjustable time of approx. 10 seconds to 30 minutes, the motion detector switches the lighting off again if no more movement or presence is detected. A controller can be used to regulate the switch-on sensitivity of this device depending on the ambient brightness (in the range between 3 and 2,000 LUX).
The motion detector is LED-compatible and has a maximum power consumption of 1000W with LED lighting.
What range does the presence detector have?
Even the smallest movements and the mere presence of people are detected by this presence detector, with a detection range of 6m, a detection angle of 360° and a mounting height of 2.2-6m. The detection range of the motion detector is up to 20m with active movements.
Where can I use the motion detector?
This presence and motion detector is suitable for surface-mounted ceiling installation indoors. The protection class is IP20.
Infrared sensor
The sensor integrated in this device detects the thermal radiation of moving bodies, e.g. people or animals, and transmits this as an electrical pulse to a connected light, for example. This device then switches on. The detection of heat radiation can be restricted by large pieces of furniture, panes of glass or very high ambient temperatures of over 40°C.
