Surface mounted IR motion detector
This motion detector with IR sensor detects even the slightest movements, such as breathing movements, of people and large animals. The lighting switches on within a detection range of 2-20 metres and a detection angle of 360°. After an adjustable time of approx. 10 seconds to 30 minutes, the motion detector switches the lighting off again when no more movement is detected. A control allows the switch-on sensitivity of this device to be adjusted depending on the ambient brightness (in the range between 3 and 2,000 LUX). In addition, the breathing detection range can be adjusted between 2-6m and the detection range for active movements between 10-20m.
With breathing detection
This motion detector recognises both movements at rest, e.g. seated activities (breathing movements), and active movements. The sensor detects even the smallest movements, such as breathing, with a detection range of 6m and an installation height of 2–4m. The detection range covers up to 20m for active movements.
Programmable
- Switch-on time: After an adjustable time of approx. 10 seconds to 30 minutes, the motion detector switches the lighting off again if no more movement is detected.
- Ambient brightness: A controller can be used to regulate the switch-on sensitivity of this device depending on the ambient brightness (in the range between 3 and 2,000 LUX).
- Range: Thanks to an additional control, the breathing detection range can be adjusted between 2-6 metres and the detection range for active movements between 10-20 metres.

Where can I use the motion detector?
This motion detector is suitable for surface-mounted ceiling installation indoors. The protection class is IP20.
Infrared sensor
The sensor integrated in this device detects the thermal radiation of moving bodies, e.g. people or animals, and transmits this as an electrical pulse to a connected light, for example. This device then switches on. The detection of heat radiation can be restricted by large pieces of furniture, panes of glass or very high ambient temperatures of over 40°C.
