Surface-mounted or flush-mounted motion detector

This motion detector with an HF sensor detects even the slightest movements, such as breathing, from people and large animals. The sensor switches the lighting on within a programmable detection range of 2–6 metres and a detection angle of 360°. After an adjustable time of approx. 10 seconds to 12 minutes, the motion detector switches the lighting off again if no further movements are detected. A control knob allows the activation sensitivity to be adjusted according to ambient brightness (between 3 and 2,000 lux).

Breathing detection

This presence detector detects both movements at rest, e.g. when sitting (breathing movements), and active movements.

Programmable

The detection range (2–6 m, 360°), the switch-on duration (10 sec. – 12 min.) and the sensitivity (3–2,000 lux) can be adjusted as required. Thanks to their positioning in close proximity to the sensor, the controls can be operated at any time, even after installation.

Why surface-mounted and flush-mounted?

This motion detector can be installed flush with the ceiling (flush-mounted) and, with the aid of an adapter, can also be mounted directly on the ceiling (surface-mounted).

Where can I use the motion detector?

The motion detector is suitable for flush-mounted installation in hollow ceilings with a mounting hole diameter of 63–66 mm. Thanks to the surface-mount adapter, the detector can also be mounted directly onto the ceiling. With an IP20 protection rating, the HF sensor is suitable for indoor use in residential and commercial premises.

High frequency sensor - Minimal radiation exposure

This HF sensor uses high-frequency electromagnetic waves (24 GHz) to detect movement. It reacts independently of the temperature of the objects. The radiation emitted by the high-frequency sensor has a power of approx. 0.2mW. This means that the radiation power is around 1/5000th of that emitted by a mobile phone. This motion detector can therefore be used without hesitation.
