Flush-mounted IR motion detector
This motion detector with an IR sensor detects the movement of people and large animals within a detection range of up to 20 metres and a detection angle of 360°, and switches the lighting on. The flush-mounted motion detector with an infrared sensor is suitable for use with LED lighting. The maximum power consumption is 1,000 W when used with LED lighting.
Thanks to its IP54 protection rating, this motion detector can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Programmable
- Switch-on time: After an adjustable time of approx. 10 seconds to 15 minutes, the motion detector switches the lighting off again if no more movement is detected.
- Ambient brightness: A controller can be used to regulate the switch-on sensitivity of this device depending on the ambient brightness (in the range between 3 and 2,000 LUX).
- Range: The detection range can also be adjusted continuously within a radius of approximately 5m to 20m, which corresponds to a detection diameter of approximately 10m to 40m.
Where can I use the motion detector?
Suitable for flush-mounted installation in cavity ceilings with a cut-out diameter of 63–66mm. Thanks to its IP54 protection rating, the detector is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its generous detection range of 20 metres in radius makes it suitable for use in commercial premises, warehouses, industrial settings and private homes.
Infrared sensor
The sensor integrated in this device detects the thermal radiation of moving bodies, e.g. people or animals, and transmits this as an electrical pulse to a connected light, for example. This device then switches on. The detection of heat radiation can be restricted by large pieces of furniture, panes of glass or very high ambient temperatures of over 40°C.
